
Proposals are due June 1, 2026
Submit yours online through https://forms.gle/8ieyYD9Fi15LNByL8, and make sure you include the following:
- Name, affiliation, and contact information
- Title of your proposed session
- Summary of your proposed session (approx. 50 words)
- Abstract of your proposed session (approx. 250 words). Include:
- Proposed session type (whether single presentation, multiple presentations within similar panel, an arts-based or practically oriented workshop; etc.). If you are organizing a panel, we recommend describing all presenters involved and identifying the panel organizer.
- Description of topics or themes to be covered during session. You may include an overarching purpose statement, a goal you’d like to achieve, or situate your session amid a larger conversation or social movement. The goal is to clearly identify what your session sets out to do and how you propose to do it.
- If relevant, you may include a description of your approach or methodology, field of application, or broader descriptions regarding the relevance and importance of your topic and how you came to this place.
- Target audience of your proposed session (e.g., educators, health care professionals, non-profit organizations, multiple audiences, etc.)
- Delivery format: In-Person or Virtual
- A brief biography (60-70 words), to be used in the program and for introductions
- Accessibility Requirements & Dietary Accommodations
The organizing committee will respond to all submissions by June 15, 2026. They may also:
- Create or recommend presentation panels or groupings based on proposals’ themes or topics.
- Request a picture of presenter(s) to be used in the program and for promotional materials.
- Offer honoraria and funding for travel, depending on budget constraints.
